2. Product and requirements
Snipfolio is a macOS screenshot and annotation app. It captures screen areas, provides editable arrows, shapes, text and other markups, organises collections, and exports or shares images. Pro includes private cloud backup and link sharing within the storage and upload limits shown in the app. macOS 13 or later and an Apple Silicon or Intel Mac are required. A verified Snipfolio account and internet connection are required for subscription verification, payment, cloud backup and sharing. Screen capture requires your macOS Screen Recording permission. OCR runs locally using Apple Vision. There is no external AI text-generation service included.
3. Ordering and activation
Sign in, choose Lifetime, Monthly or Yearly, read and accept these terms, then continue to Stripe Checkout. You can review your billing details, discounts, applicable tax and the total before submitting payment. The contract is concluded when payment succeeds and your purchase is confirmed. Access is attached to your Snipfolio account, not a transferable license key. Sign in with the same account in the Mac app. You receive a welcome email and a separate contract confirmation containing these terms and withdrawal information.
4. Prices, entitlements and duration
Lifetime costs USD 29.99 per Mac once, excluding applicable tax. It grants permanent use of eligible Snipfolio app versions and 1 GB (1,000,000,000 bytes) of private cloud backup storage with no recurring charge. Updates and support are included for twelve calendar months from purchase. After this period, you may keep using your last eligible app version; the purchase does not expire. Updates released after your included period require an active Monthly or Yearly subscription or a separately offered upgrade. Necessary security updates and mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Monthly costs USD 9.99 per Mac per month, excluding applicable tax. While the subscription is active, it includes app access, unlimited cloud backup storage in bytes, and updates and support. Upload and anti-abuse limits still apply: 25 MB per image and 200 MB / 500 images per backup upload, and a daily creation limit. Monthly has no total-storage-byte or total-backup-count cap. These operation limits are shown in the app; they are not an additional hidden GB quota.
Yearly costs USD 95.90 per Mac per year, excluding applicable tax, billed in one annual payment. It includes the same unlimited cloud storage, app access, updates and support as Monthly while active, with the same per-upload and anti-abuse limits. It renews automatically for successive twelve-month periods until cancelled. This is a 20% saving compared with twelve USD 9.99 monthly payments, rounded to cents.
Stripe calculates and adds applicable tax before payment. The final total and any discount are displayed at Checkout and on your invoice. Your bank may charge currency conversion fees. Lifetime is a single payment and does not renew. Monthly begins on purchase and renews automatically for successive monthly periods until cancelled, with no minimum commitment beyond the current paid month. Any promotion is subject to the duration and conditions shown before purchase.
You can own Lifetime and separately subscribe to Monthly or Yearly. Either subscription does not replace or cancel your Lifetime purchase. While it is active, its larger cloud and update benefits apply. Ending the subscription restores your Lifetime entitlements; it does not restart your original twelve-month update/support period. Existing cloud data over the 1 GB limit is not immediately deleted, but new uploads cannot exceed your restored allowance. You can download, export or delete existing backups to get below the limit.
5. Cancellation and payment problems
You can manage or cancel your subscription in https://snipfolio.app/account.html using the Stripe billing portal, or request cancellation by emailing support@snipfolio.app. Cancel before the next renewal to prevent the next charge. Ordinary cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period and access continues until then. This does not limit withdrawal, statutory remedies or termination rights. Payment failures can suspend Pro and online features. We do not treat an ordinary cancellation as permission to erase your local screenshots. Export and keep a local copy of important files before ending the plan.
6. Your content and cloud features
You retain rights to your content. Only capture or share material that you are entitled to use. Cloud backup is optional and requires uploading your selected data. It is not end-to-end encrypted and is not a substitute for an independent backup. Share links make the selected image accessible to anyone with the link until expiry or revocation; do not share confidential content unintentionally. Storage, import and share limits shown in the app apply. Large images can be resized or kept locally. Monthly and Yearly include unlimited total backup storage in bytes during the active subscription; Lifetime includes 1 GB permanently. No plan includes unlimited upload request rates or unlimited file size. Export important collections before deleting them or withdrawing from the service.
7. Updates, conformity and complaints
Necessary updates, including security updates, are provided as required by applicable law. Install available updates to maintain compatibility and security. Your statutory rights concerning conformity of digital products, including remedies for defects, are unaffected. Report problems to support@snipfolio.app with the app version and a description; do not email passwords or private screenshots unless necessary. These terms do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Right of withdrawal
EU/EEA consumers have the 14-day withdrawal right described in the attached withdrawal information. Downloading, signing in or using Snipfolio does not by itself waive that right. We do not obtain a waiver of the withdrawal right in this checkout. An eligible withdrawal is refunded in accordance with the withdrawal information.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL — EU/EEA CONSUMERS
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Philipp Rufinatscha, Am Europlatz 2, 1120 Wien, Austria; support@snipfolio.app) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. You may also submit your withdrawal online at https://snipfolio.app/terms.html#withdrawal. If you use this option, we will send acknowledgement of receipt, including your declaration and the date and time of receipt, by email without delay.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We do not obtain a waiver of your withdrawal right in this checkout. Your statutory rights concerning the conformity of digital products remain unaffected. Ordinary cancellation of a subscription and withdrawal from the contract are separate actions.

Withdraw from contract
No login is required. Your order reference is in your contract confirmation email. You may always send an unequivocal withdrawal by email or post instead.
9. Privacy and changes
The privacy notice at https://snipfolio.app/privacy.html explains account, payment, storage and support processing. Acceptance of these terms is not consent to advertising or optional tracking. The version accepted when you ordered is included in your contract confirmation. Posting a different version does not silently change your existing contract. Any future price or contractual change requires appropriate notice and any consent or cancellation rights required by law.
10. Applicable law
Austrian law applies, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence where applicable. No exclusive court clause overrides a consumer's statutory jurisdiction rights. Contract and support communications are in English; withdrawal notices can also be submitted in German.
Mac places
Each newly purchased paid licence allows one connected Mac. Existing purchases retain their previous three-Mac allowance; each additional paid licence adds one place. Manage connected Macs in your account and sign one out to free a place. Lifetime cloud storage is 1 GB per account, regardless of the number of Mac places. Monthly and Yearly include unlimited cloud storage per account while active, subject to upload and anti-abuse limits. Additional subscription licences are billed through Stripe; the checkout or billing portal shows the total, applicable tax, any proration and the effective date before confirmation. Additional subscription places become available after payment confirmation. Reductions and shorter billing intervals may be scheduled for the end of the current billing period.
